Homes with Pools for Sale in Ivins, Utah

Ivins is the county's conservation champion, and buyers keep assuming that means pools are on borrowed time. The record says otherwise. The city's water efficiency ordinance targets lawn area and ornamental features, and its emergency-stage restrictions ban fountains and reflection ponds, not swimming pools. Meanwhile the town cut per-capita water use from 293 to 166 gallons a day between 2020 and 2023, the lowest in Utah by its mayor's account, strong enough that the water district shelved a $22 million reservoir because demand fell. Pools and conservation are coexisting here in plain sight.

What actually deserves your attention on an Ivins pool home: permit history, equipment age, barrier compliance, and a cover, since desert evaporation is the real water cost and a good cover eliminates most of it. The season runs roughly April through October unheated, longer with a heater, and the city's daytime irrigation ban (8am to 8pm) doesn't touch pool use. On every pool purchase I pull the permit record alongside the comps, because an unpermitted pool becomes the buyer's problem at the next resale.
