I will be straight with you: private pools are not common in New Harmony, and some seasons this page will be thin or empty. Elevation and a short swim season mean most owners here never build one, so when a pool home does list it tends to move on that feature alone.

New Harmony is a town of a couple hundred people at 5,300 feet, sitting at the foot of the Kolob Canyons with cliff walls two thousand feet tall practically in the back yard. It is reached from I-15 at Exit 42, with the Kolob Canyons visitor center one exit south, Cedar City about 32 minutes north, and St. George about 45 minutes south. The town was settled in 1862 by families flooded out of Fort Harmony, it incorporated in 1936, and it has guarded its quiet ever since.

The Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park is the least crowded corner of one of the busiest parks in America, and its visitor center sits at Exit 40, two exits from town. The finger canyons glow red at sunset in a way that stops people mid-sentence, and the five mile scenic drive climbs to viewpoints most Zion visitors never see. Living in New Harmony means that view is your daily backdrop, with Pine Valley Mountain filling the other horizon.
