Desert Garden Estates is one of Virgin's established subdivisions, with most homes built through the early-to-mid 2000s. Recent sales have run from around $600,000 to the high $800,000s, on homes from about 1,750 to 3,500 square feet, so it spans comfortable family homes up to larger properties on real lots. Virgin is a small Washington County town on State Route 9, the road to Zion, sitting along the Virgin River at about 3,606 feet. It is the closest side of the valley to the park, so this is a rural, spread-out place of larger lots and dark skies, with Hurricane and Sand Hollow a short drive west.

It is a settled, livable neighborhood with room to it, and a solid fit for a buyer who wants an established Virgin home near Zion.
