Coronado Ridge Homes For Sale | Hurricane, Utah
Coronado Ridge sits on the northwest side of Hurricane, right by the Walmart and an easy reach of Sand Hollow and the trails, and it has become one of the neighborhoods I point move-up buyers to when they want something a little newer without giving up the freedom of no HOA. Homes here were mostly built from 2006 through 2020, so it skews newer than a lot of the established Hurricane subdivisions, and prices have run from the low $430,000s up into the high $600,000s, with the bulk landing in the $500,000s.
The pitch on Coronado Ridge is pretty straightforward. You get newer construction, open floor plans with tall ceilings and granite, on lots that run from compact up to about a third of an acre, and there is no HOA. That last part keeps coming up because it is genuinely hard to find in a neighborhood this age and this close to town. With no monthly dues and no board, the RV parking, sheds and workshops that show up across these listings are yours to actually use.
Newer Homes, Room to Spread Out
What separates Coronado Ridge from the older value neighborhoods nearby is the mix of newer build years and usable space. You will see single-level homes around 1,500 to 1,950 square feet that work great for a smaller family or a downsizer who still wants a yard, and you will also see larger two-story and basement homes pushing 2,900 square feet for buyers who need more room. One home here came with a six-bedroom layout and a finished walkout basement flagged as a possible ADU, which is worth knowing if a separate living space or rental potential is on your list. Several also have dedicated RV parking, gas firepits, covered patios and separate workshops or sheds, so the outdoor and storage space is real, not an afterthought.
Because there is no HOA, what you do with that space is up to you. Park the trailer, build out the shop, set up the backyard for entertaining. That flexibility is a big part of why buyers who started out looking at the entry-level neighborhoods often end up stretching a little to land in Coronado Ridge instead.
Coronado Ridge competes directly with a couple of nearby neighborhoods, so pricing and timing make a real difference here whether you are buying or selling. Homes for Sale in Coronado Ridge
The newest Coronado Ridge listings are featured at the top of this page. This is an active neighborhood at a popular price point, so there is usually something on the market, and the well-priced homes draw a lot of attention. Setting up a saved search is the best way to hear about new listings early. You can also compare against the rest of Hurricane Valley through the Advanced Search.
Floor plans here cover a lot of ground. Single-level homes make up a good share of the neighborhood, with several two-story and finished-basement options for larger households. Recent updates are common, remodeled kitchens, newer HVAC, fresh flooring, so move-in-ready homes come up regularly alongside ones with a little room to add your own touches.
Location and the Hurricane Lifestyle
Coronado Ridge puts you minutes from shopping and dining, close to Sand Hollow and Quail Creek Reservoirs, and a short drive to the dunes, the trails and the golf courses, with Zion National Park about half an hour out. It is one of those spots that feels tucked away and quiet but is still right in the middle of everything that makes Hurricane worth living in. If outdoor recreation is a big part of your reason for looking here, the Hurricane off-road lifestyle page is worth a read, and the RV garage homes page is a good resource if a dedicated spot for the trailer is high on your list.
Most buyers comparing Coronado Ridge also look at neighboring Canyon Ridge, which sits at a lower price point with older homes, and at Dixie Springs on the south side of town. Putting those side by side is the clearest way to decide whether the newer construction here is worth the step up in price.
Schools
Coronado Ridge is in the Washington County School District. Most of the neighborhood feeds Coral Canyon Elementary, with some homes zoned for Three Falls or Hurricane Elementary, then Hurricane Intermediate, Hurricane Middle and Hurricane High. The elementary boundary runs through this area, so I am glad to confirm the assigned school for any specific address before you write an offer.
